"The gifts of the spirit that our pets so generously give us are gifts that will live forever in our hearts." - Laurel E. Hunt

Euthanasia means “good death” and is a final act intended to relieve pain and suffering and to bring about a peaceful end to life. In-home euthanasia allows you to choose when and where your pet passes. Ideally this will be a familiar place where your pet is comfortable and relaxed. When your pet is settled, an injection will be administered either under the skin or in the muscle which will provide heavy sedation and eventually anesthesia. At this stage, your pet will be asleep and no longer feel discomfort or pain. The final injection will not be felt and within minutes, your pet’s breathing will stop and the heart will stop beating. A gentle and painless euthanasia for your pet, along with your peace of mind, is the foremost intention governing our practice.
